those are some pretty cool pictures... even though i'm replying two and a half months late haha. where do you find all these?
also, just fyi, that lars anderson guy was shown to be just a trickshooter, not any sort of "real" archer. really talented and good at what he does, but he's not doing what he claims to be doing. there was a video on facebook about it.
what are you conflicted about?
agreed. i was on the fence about korra or atla being better, but after that finale (really just the last few mins of it), i think atla is overall a better show. (sad that such a small part of the show can cast such a large shadow on the rest of it...) with that said:
1. i liked the fact that korra was more mature than atla. despite it being such a good story, i cringe sometimes as a (roughly) 20 year old watching a kid's show. (some say it's a family show, but let's get real: family shows have to be kid friendly.) This is mostly during the filler episodes, but i still really appreciated the fact that korra was aimed at a little higher age group with older characters.
2. book 2 of korra has some of my all time favorite avatar eps. Beginnings and ANSA were very well done, and the explainations we got for that spiritual aspect of the world we know and love was really cool. i think ANSA was the only episode that actually got a visible reaction out of me. (normally i'm poker faced and calm watching a show, but ANSA got a few gasps and facial expressions. i think i even leaned forward in my seat a little haha!)
3. book 3 of korra had the best finale of the four... imo, it would have made a better series finale than the book 4 one did. (aside, obviously, from the fact that korra was in a pretty bad place at the end, which isn't a good way to end a series.... but still.)
i thought it was really good... except for two things:
1. korrasami. despite what bryan said about it, it was totally out of the blue, and i don't think i was watching with "hetero lenses" for the past couple seasons. so i call total BS on that.
2 the past lives: i really would have liked korra to get her past lives back before the season ended. they psyched me out after she created the spirit portal and was staring at herself just like in Beginnings, but then instead of turning into aang, her counterpart turned into kuvira. Boo.
not so much for the sake of letting someone else write it, but mostly just so we don't leave it as unfinished as it is right now.
i'm in the same boat though: most of what we had planned actually happened in the show, and i've lost most of my motivation and inspiration to finish this.
still slaving over work and school... but thankfully my last exam was yesterday, so i've got that going for me
i thought that last one kinda looked like Li... but i agree, i really like that FST one. i imagine it's some other town (meaning besides lilypad cove) that's part of that nation.
just noticed the update haha... nice to see some progress after so long!
i don't think we should go into it too much... he's supposed to be a side character until we meet him again much later. plus we're already really behind in getting the chapter out, so i don't think we should add anything else besides whatever TANC currently has planned.
wow, i totally forgot about this... life's been very busy for sure on my end as well.
wow, i totally forgot about this... actually my wikia activity in general has been way down lately. school, work, and life have been pretty busy lately.
our latest chapter is pretty close to being ready to publish... what's left for it?
